MidPoint is a comprehensive open source identity governance and administration (IGA) platform. This talk is introducing basic ideas of identity governance, as well as some (quite opinionated) methods that midPoint is using to address IGA needs. However, the talk is focused on information about architecture of midPoint, including some very interesting characteristics (completely schema-based system, code generator, support for several data representation languages) and lessons from more than 14 years of open source development and maintenance of midPoint.
MidPoint is a comprehensive open source identity governance and administration (IGA) platform. It was created by a small team more than 14 years ago. It is still maintained and extended by the members of the original team, funded by a sustainable open source business model (no venture capital).
The talk is delivered by Radovan Semančík, original architect and maintainer of midPoint project.
For reference, there is a free online book about midPoint: https://docs.evolveum.com/book/
